Continuous Professional Development
We have implemented a Continuous Professional Development program for our SAUEO Organisers, to ensure that our members always receive quality support and guidance. The purpose of the CPD program is to ensure that our Organisers are always up to date with the latest developments within labour law, are able to and equipped to navigate any potential problem that might arise at your business. This ensures that our Organisers will always give the best and most up-to-date advice when our members need it most
The CPD program consists of three categories

- Recording podcasts
- Providing Case Law or Fact Sheets
- Completing the online Induction Program
Work-based Activities
- Conciliations
- Arbitrations
- Con/Arbs
- Reviews
- Recessions
- Labour Court Appearances
- Submitting Case Outcomes
Individual Activities
- Reading articles
- Listing to podcasts
- Watching informative clips
- Attending webinars
- Completing online courses
- Completing a Higher Certificate
- Completing a Diploma
- Completing a Degree or Post-graduate Degree
- Part-time lecturing
Each activity has a predetermined CPD point value allocated to it. The majority of the activities can be tracked on the SAUEO Organisers portal and your CPD profile and level is updated automatically. You will also be able to allocate CPD points for approved individual activities through the SAUEO Organisers portal.
CPD Status
0-75: Gold
76-150: Platinum
151- 250: Diamond
250+: Elite
CDP period: 1 October – 30 September
Minimum points required per annum: 50 points
